I got the pleasure of getting to know Elizabeth and Richard at their engagement shoot last fall. We met at Old City Cemetery and chatted about their lives and upcoming wedding, and of course spent time on the swing memorial.
The Wedding!
This was Carrington and I's first time visiting Sorella Farms, a beautiful farmhouse and barn venue located in Evington, VA. We absolutely loved the location and only took a few wrong turns on the way there.
The afternoon we shared with Elizabeth and her girls was calm and relaxed, the perfect lead up to a seamless day. Our wonderful bride let us know about her princess vision for the day, and she could not have embodied a princess more than she did!!! She was also very excited about her dress, shoes, and veil being sparkly. ✨
The ceremony was so sweet, Elizabeth had avoided tears until just before the aisle doors opened. After taking a second with her father, and a tissue, she was off to be wed!!
While Richard isn't a big dancer, Elizabeth was READY to get on that dance floor!! They also enjoyed the shoe game, cake cutting, and the traditional family & first dances. It was an honor to be present for this day, and we give all the love to the newlyweds!
