Julia reached out prepared with location ideas, Sugar + Twine included. Luckily, they answered our calls and allowed us to come in after hours! It was the perfect time with beautiful light shining through the windows.
Also, the latte art is BEAUTIFUL.
Maymont
Another Richmond classic! As one of our frequently visited locations, we were able to use the last 15 minutes before they closed to hit the important spots. We also learned that if you want to wear heels at Maymont, you should bring a pair of walking shoes! Or you can be like Julia, and embrace it and go barefoot.
The Japanese Garden has so many beautiful hidden gems, location-wise. The stepping stones, waterfall, and bridges make a perfect backdrop for any engagement shoot.
